Latest News: Dan is nominated for Great British Entrepreneur 2014 award
The founder of Build Team, Dan Davidson, has been selected as a nominee for a prestigious Great British Entrepreneur 2014 award. Dan celebrated his nomination at the GBEA Nominees VIP event at RBS Headquarters on Thursday.
"I'm delighted to be nominated for such a prestigious award. We have worked really hard at Build Team to create a fully integrated approach for homeowners wishing to design & build a Side Return Extension, and from day one we have believed in the need to present costs in a straightforward and transparent manner via our unique online price calculator. To receive recognition for the company and our innovative approach is fantastic; I couldn't be happier."
Simon Burton, founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards says “The Great British Entrepreneur Awards are all about celebrating inspiring entrepreneurs. We believe that entrepreneurs are the engine room of the economy, the drivers of national wealth. More importantly we believe that entrepreneurs forge innovation, disrupt tired markets, and foster positive change. The entries this year are inspiring and humbling. We passionately promote the idea that entrepreneurs’ stories are as telling as their balance sheets and that entrepreneurs should be acknowledged and recognised. The task for the judges this year will be incredibly hard. Entrepreneurship is alive, thriving and blossoming in the UK.”
Winners last year included Julie Deane of The Cambridge Satchel Company, Rowan Gormley, founder of Naked Wines and Anthony Pile, founder and Chairman of Blue Skies. The 2014 Shortlist Announcement is expected in the next few weeks. We’re keeping our fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes… crossed.
