We recently gave you a summary of our latest completed projects. We are so impressed with the transformations that we thought we’d share a bit more information with you about each of the projects. We understand it can be difficult to imagine the final result, so we have put together a series of before and after shots to show you how an extension can give your home a whole new look.
Clapham, SW4
This large mansard conversion completely changed the roofscape of this property. The clients wanted to transform this second floor flat to accommodate an additional bathroom, larger bedroom and a very modern, open plan kitchen and dining area. Hackney, E9
This property in E9 added a side return and loft extension. This side return extension creates the space for an open plan kitchen and dining space. Large bi-folding doors and skylights along the pitched roof keep this kitchen filled with light. The loft became a large bedroom with a beautiful view from the Juliet balcony, extending onto the outrigger to host an en-suite bathroom. Tooting, SW17
A rear dormer extension to this property adds an extra bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Our clients chose to have bi-folding doors stretch across the bedroom, creating one of our widest Juliet balconies. The new addition to the roof gives this home a modern appearance from the rear elevation and holds the potential to add value to the property itself. Tulse Hill, SE27
This striking wraparound extension completely transforms this home which previously housed a small conservatory to the rear. Inspired by the character of the Victorian properties, our clients chose an apex roof design for a perfect symmetry on the finish. We included skylights along the full length of the side return and 2 large skylights at the rear of the extension to frame the apex finish. The new extension creates a seamless merge between the interior space and garden which results in an airy and open plan feel. Peckham Rye, SE15
This dazzling ground floor and loft extension increases this property by a whopping 35SQM! It is more than clear to see how the new extension re-vamps the exterior elevation, but what we love even more is the well thought out interior space. The design uses the space as efficiently as possibly by tucking away the fridge/ freezer and downstairs toilet under the staircase. The loft extension provides two new bedrooms for a growing family.
